Chad’s Road to Recovery:
Chad and my sister, Megan, have been married for nearly 4 years and recently bought their first home in North Salt Lake, where they live with their three fur babies —Shilo, Charlie, and Lucy.
On April 15, Chad was involved in a devastating accident when he was struck by a truck while riding his mini bike near their home. He suffered extremely serious injuries and is currently facing a long and uncertain road to recovery.
Thanks to the incredible medical team, his leg was able to be saved for now, though his condition is still being closely monitored and future procedures are guaranteed. He has multiple broken bones and small brain bleeds, but there are encouraging signs—he’s been able to communicate some with Megan and still has feeling in his fingers and toes.
Chad’s life will be forever changed, and the road ahead will be long. With extended hospitalization, ongoing medical care, and a significant time away from work, the financial impact on their family will be overwhelming.
We are raising funds to help cover medical expenses, rehabilitation, and everyday living costs so Chad and Megan can focus on healing and taking things one day at a time.
In addition, I will be donating 20% of my sales from my crochet business—selling handmade items like cat toys—to contribute directly to their support.
Any donation, no matter the size, or even just sharing this fundraiser, truly makes a difference. Thank you for supporting Chad and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
