My name is Charlie Vasquez. I am a victim of the incoherence of our society, the antagonism and ideological games of our political parties, and the pandemic of covid19 that have buried close to a million in the united states alone. The video, on the internet, shows me sitting on a stoop behind a gate near E. 187th St. and Beaumont Ave. in Belmont, Wednesday night. Officers walk up from his right, responding to an 8 p.m. 911 call from the same person that owns me $200 and previous heated interactions refuse to pay me. When the officers arrived at the scene I was blind, frustrated, during the struggle with the male officer, the semi-automatic gun accidentally shot the female officer who returned fire.

I was shot 5 times by the female officer who shoot her partner as well. After six days in custody, I was sent to Riker's correctional cell.

 I was complaining every day of the persistent pain of all my injuries. I have been tortured and retaliated by not submitting sufficient medication and medical care. I have been treated inhumanely despite the degree of unhealed injuries on my body. I was crying and suffering and to make matter worse I was isolated after contracting Covid 19. At this moment nobody wants to take care of me. The officers cause me to suffer a broken rib, collapsed lung, nerve-damaged on my left leg and right arm. I am being held on Riker island where my civil rights continue to be violated. The indictment against me lists two counts of attempted murder in the second degree, two counts of attempted aggravated assault upon a police officer, and two counts of attempted assault in the first degree. It also lists two counts of second-degree assault, first-degree criminal use of a firearm, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm, and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. I need help!
