I was recently diagnosed with Stage 3, colon cancer in September of this year.  Treatment started at the end of October.  I was receiving, what could only be summarized as negligent care.  As a resut, I had to switch insurance plans as of 12/1/17.

In doing so, Sutter Health does not cover oral chemo medication 100%, as my other plan did.  I cannot work or support my family on IV treatment.  I cannot afford to let cancer rob me of my quality of life, give me (possibly) permanent side effects, and cost me another surgery, to put in a port.

That being said, oral chemo is my only option and there is only one option available in regards to the available medication.

Any money collected will go to pay for medication,  doctor visits, labs and procedure testing fees that I must have.  I have diligently tried to find assistance elsewhere; but funding just isn't available at this time.

I was willing to stop chemo and put it in God's hands.  That was til my youngest looked at me said, "I don't want you to die".  She is the reason I conceded to try this option.
