Child Protection App

Thank you for taking the time to read this. This project is deeply personal, and I truly believe it has the potential to protect children, support families, and prevent tragedies before they happen.

Recently, I came across a short video online that completely shifted the way I see digital safety for children. In the video, a father shared a frightening experience from an otherwise ordinary evening at home.

He was in the kitchen preparing dinner while his young daughter was in another room using her iPad. He could hear her talking and, at first, thought nothing of it. But as he walked into the room, he heard her say, “Okay, Daddy.”

Confused, he asked her who she was speaking to. She calmly replied, “You, Daddy.”

Alarmed, he checked her device and discovered an active call labeled with his name—“Daddy.” But it wasn’t him. The call was not coming from his phone number or device. It was linked to a random email address that someone had created to impersonate him.

What followed was even more disturbing. His daughter explained that the voice on the call sounded exactly like her father. The impersonator then instructed her to go to the front door, telling her he had left groceries outside and needed her to open it.

It was not him.

Someone had successfully mimicked his identity and voice well enough to deceive his child.

That moment shook me deeply.

As a mother and a grandmother, I immediately thought of my own family—especially my four-year-old granddaughter, who spends time on her iPad like many children today. She has loving, attentive parents, just like the father in the video. But the reality is that children are growing up in a digital world where threats are no longer just physical—they can reach into our homes through screens.

The thought of a child unknowingly opening a door for a stranger because of digital manipulation is heartbreaking beyond words. It is a fear I cannot ignore.

That moment inspired me to begin building a child digital safety and protection app—something designed to help parents safeguard their children in a world that is evolving faster than most safety tools can keep up with.

I am currently in the early stages of developing this idea. While I am not a technical expert, I have been actively researching and working to bring this concept to life. What I have learned is that building something meaningful and secure like this requires both funding and experienced development support.

Unfortunately, creating a platform like this does require financial resources—often thousands of dollars in development, testing, and security infrastructure.

I am not a millionaire. I work hard, and like many families today, I am doing my best to stay afloat. But this project is not about personal gain.

I am seeking support specifically to help fund the development of this child protection application.

To those who choose to contribute—whether through funding, services, or technical expertise—you will receive lifetime free access to the app once it is launched as a sincere thank-you for helping make this vision possible.

More than anything, I am also looking for experienced developers and collaborators who share this concern for child safety and would be willing to help bring this idea to life. Even guidance at this stage would be invaluable.

If this message resonates with you, I kindly ask that you share it with others who may care about child safety, parents, or digital protection. Every share helps.

If you would like updates on the progress of this project, please feel free to leave your email so I can keep you informed as it develops.

This is not something I can build alone. It will take a community—a village—of caring individuals to create something truly impactful.

With the right support, I believe we can build a tool that not only protects children, but also brings peace of mind to parents, grandparents, and guardians everywhere.

Thank you again for your time, your consideration, and your support.
