Chip's Knee Surgery
Chip is only one and a half years old and already needs knee surgery. He is the shop cat at Fort Stevens and we collect pop cans to help fund his vet and food expenses. His knee surgery is estimated to cost $1,500 at minimum with a 6-8 week recovery time. He has a consult on September 28th to find out more details and get surgery scheduled.
With Fall and the rains now back, Chip's knee is hurting him more. Pop can collection will take us quite some time to fund his surgery. If anyone would like to donate even a few dollars towards him, we would greatly appreciate it.
We rescued him in January and since then, he has become the highlight of many staff and volunteers' day. He is sweet, talkative and loves tummy rubs.
