UPDATE:

They are planning to return to Abaco  in January. They will not receive an income  as the church will not be in a position to pay. So, they will be returning as missionaries , depending on support from gracious & generous friends. Christ will  continue his ministry at New Vision Ministries and both expect to be actively involved in providing care, support and encouragement to the community while also assisting with distribution of food and other supplies.

As you may know, my (Jared Berner) parents recently lost almost everything in Hurricane Dorian. The town where they live, Marsh Harbour was completely decimated. There are few if any buildings left unscathed by the storm. Most buildings that are still standing, are just the exterior shell, as everything inside was washed away by storm surges up to the ceiling.

My parents have the clothes on their back, and a few other valuables that fit in a small bag. They are both without a job right now, and who knows how long it will take them to rebuild their lives.

Donations will 100% go directly to them. It will be used to help them in the short term to support themselves and buy basic necessities that were lost. Long term, it will go toward helping them rebuild their lives in whatever way God calls them to next. Any amount can help! Thank you
