Chris Hilliard Charity

Chris was diagnosed Medulloblastoma (a brain tumor) in September 2024. Since then, he has been in active and aggressive treatments, traveling almost every other week out of state for these treatments. These trips come with steep costs, including last-minute flights, hotels, meals, car rentals, and all the extras that add up quickly.

He is currently enrolled in an international clinical study that gives us real hope. The outlook is positive, and we’re grateful he has access to a treatment path that shows promise—but staying in the program requires frequent travel and long stays away from home.

For years, Chris has loved seeing the world. He and his wife, Lauren, took weekend trips across the country whenever they could. He also spent many years as the head Lacrosse coach at Brother Rice High School, mentoring young athletes and helping some reach their goal of playing in college. Today, he brings that same dedication to being a hands on dad to his one-year-old son, Andrew, taking him for stroller rides, zoo visits, and bedtime story marathons.

Chris always puts others first. Family, friends, and coworkers know him as the guy who shows up when it matters. Now it’s our turn to show up for him. Every dollar we raise will go directly toward covering his travel and medical expenses so he can focus on healing, not bills.

Please chip in if you can. Even $10 makes a difference. And if you’re not able to donate right now, sharing this page helps more than you know. Please continue to keep Chris in your prayers. It is prayers that help sustain us during this difficult time. Thank you for standing with Chris and our family during this fight.

Save the Date of March 1, 2026 for the Climb for Chris Bash at 115 Bourbon Street. Tickets will be on sale soon!
