Chris has never known life without a chair.

Therefore, he has lived life to the fullest embracing his challenges and encouraging others as much as he can. Chris is a fighter; he has faced may challenges and continues to push through them with determination and a smile. You never see him without a smile.

I'm so proud of him for stepping up and taking on a role that no one was ready for. Chris has embraced being the caregiver for Mom now and continues to provide for her/them since our Dad passed. He deserves his own crown for all he deals with, he truly does.

A new chair would benefit him in all aspects. He now has medical insurance, but the deductible is $3,700 and we are trying to find a way to pay for it as he needs and deserves it. This isn't just any chair, it is custom fit, for him and his needs. Chris has not had a new wheelchair in 12 years, it is on its last leg, pun intended. Being held together with duct tape and minimal seat cushion. The lack of chair support has caused recent severe infections from his leg rubbing against the worn pad. Which resulted in ER visits, hospital stay and lots of frustration.

Chris is not on any services, he works 40+ hours a week at Home Depot and this fee is his out-of-pocket cost after insurance covers the remainder. He is a hard worker and doing all he can to make everything work financially, this cost is out of reach at the moment for him. But with all our help we can make it happen!
