Because our family has been recipients of gift drives in the past, and my heart was so overwhelmed and blessed by these ministries, God has laid on my heart to put on a similar ministry for other families to be blessed this way. Our goal is to share the love of Christ by living out His sacrificial generosity, allowing people to see and experience His love through us. We aim to share the gospel clearly with each family who experiences this ministry. We hope to bless FIVE families this year. We are praying we can raise $1500 to cover gifts for these 5 families. Any extra monies will go toward logistics for the ministry (hot chocolate, props, gift bags, or other needs for the event itself). Each family will go through a guided Christmas story that helps them to feel loved and special, ending at a “store” where they can choose gifts for their family. Before they leave, each family will have an opportunity to sit down with someone who will share the gospel of Christ with them. Please consider giving for this ministry. I will be praying and promoting this week to get our five families scheduled for this Christmas experience and shopping event. Each family will provide names, genders and ages, clothes sizes and a wishlist. I will be shopping for their gifts on Thursday and Friday.
