Why is photography so dang expensive!? Well, I guess that's what I bargained for... Hi friends and family! Thanks for checking this thing out. I've always thought of trying something like this because I seem to find myself in a similar predicament each year, wanting that one thing that nobody can afford. However this year I'm ahead of things, and the thing I want is a new lens for my camera.

Because I'd like to practice photography and cinematography in more professional settings/ develop my portfolio (and because I find myself quite passionate about it all), I need a diverse set of lenses. But, currently, I really only have one professional quality lens in my bag. The truth is, cheap lenses exist, but then you've just wasted money on a nice camera that can't see through imperfect glass.

So, instead of each of you worrying about what to get me and how much to spend (I know it keeps you up at night!), this seems like a perfect solution to all our needs... and wants. Of course, I don't expect anyone to contribute, this is all just for fun! Please, feel free to donate any amount (seriously, even a dollar would be awesome), and maybe share it with a fellow worrier/ family member. Hopefully, this isn't too weird or complicated, I guess it's an experiment! As a thank you, I'd be more than happy to take some high-quality portraits of you guys the next time I see you. I love you all, happy holidays!
