Christmas Help
Since my partner passed away, life has changed in ways I never imagined. The holidays, especially Christmas, have become bittersweet filled with memories of love, laughter, and togetherness, but also marked by a deep sense of loss. This year, I’m trying to raise money to give my children a Christmas that feels joyful again, one that reminds them that even in the midst of grief, magic and warmth still exist. They’ve been incredibly strong through everything, adjusting to a new reality without the presence of someone who meant the world to us. But I see the sadness in their eyes, the longing for the traditions we used to share, and the hope that maybe, just maybe, this Christmas can still be special. Raising money isn’t about extravagant gifts it’s about creating moments that help us heal. I want to be able to put up a tree, hang lights, cook a warm meal, and maybe even surprise them with something that makes their eyes light up. These small things mean everything right now. They represent stability, comfort, and the chance to make new memories rooted in love and resilience. Financially, things have been difficult since my partner’s passing. Balancing bills, daily expenses, and emotional recovery has left little room for extras. But I believe in the kindness of others and the power of community. With support, I can give my children a Christmas that feels hopeful a day where they can laugh freely, feel cherished, and know that they are not alone. This fundraiser is my way of reaching out, not just for help, but for a chance to restore a sense of joy in our home. We’re not asking for perfection just a little light to guide us through a session that’s meant to be filled with love.
