Our family is reaching out with humble hearts to ask for support during an unexpected and challenging time.

Clara recently underwent a craniotomy (brain surgery) in Atlanta, Georgia. The original plan was for her to recover in Atlanta briefly, attend her follow-up appointment on February 11, 2026, and then return home to Perry, GA. To support her during this period, our family rented an Airbnb near the hospital.

Unfortunately, her recovery has not gone as anticipated. She currently has no mobility in her lower extremities and her left arm and is now at Emory Rehabilitation Center receiving intensive therapy and medical care.

Because of this change, our family now faces unexpected housing expenses so we can remain close to her while she receives rehabilitation. We are staying in Atlanta because we want to make sure she receives the best possible care, proper oversight, and the constant love and advocacy she deserves during this critical stage of healing.
