Coconut (AKA Meelah) is my soul dog. She loves nothing more than hiking, running, galloping through fields, and causing mayhem! She has been a foster friend to many critters throughout the years, and supported me through the hardest moments of my adult life.

She recently suffered a cruciate ligament tear, and is scheduled for surgery on Thursday, November 5th.

I’m a single mom to a wonderful almost 3 year old, I work full time, and we are doing our best. We’re grateful to have a lot of support already, including a great discount from the vet (where I work).

I’ve donated to hundreds of animal welfare projects, I’ve paid for my animal-patient’s pain meds out of my own pocket, I’ve done free services for hundreds of clients asking for help, and have dedicated my life to serving animals and their families. I hate to ask, but now we’re the ones that need a bit more help this time.
