It is with a heavy but hopeful heart that I am reaching out to my community. On a recent visit to the doctor to address some vision issues, our beloved Collin received news that he had a 5.6cm brain tumor that was stretching the optic nerves and pressing on the pituitary gland. Collin bravely endured a ten-hour surgery to have the tumor removed but has a long road of recovery ahead -one that unfortunately comes with growing medical expenses. Though we are very hopeful, Collin’s vision difficulties have not yet been resolved, which requires around-the-clock assistance.

Many of you have so kindly reached out, offering your support and asking how you can help. Collin and Shelby will need their community to rally around them in the coming months, and meals and medical expenses are a great way to lighten the burden of recovery. Continued thanks to all of you who have called, texted, and left heartfelt messages of love and support. It means the world to them.
