I was diagnosed with colon cancer one year ago today, the day after my 42nd birthday. I had surgery to remove it and completed 12 rounds of chemo. Luckily I had an opportunity to work from home so I was able to somewhat keep up with my expenses. Well, yesterday I had my one year follow up with blood work and scans and I'm being told I have to have at least 2 more surgeries to fix some complications from the first one. I'm already stretched thin and will need to take additional time off that I don't have anymore PTO for. I don't have any close family or friends that are able to help.
