Commercial Pilot Training
Every time I look up at the sky, I don't just see airplanes—I see possibility. I see a future that no one in my family has ever had the opportunity to pursue. I see freedom, purpose, and a chance to build a legacy that extends far beyond myself.
I am working toward becoming the first rotorcraft pilot in my family. That dream carries the hopes of generations before me—people who worked hard, sacrificed, and believed that each generation should have opportunities they never had. Their determination laid the foundation for mine, and I intend to honor it by reaching heights they could only imagine.
As a Black woman pursuing aviation, I am entering a field where people who look like me remain significantly underrepresented. Throughout history, barriers have limited who was encouraged to dream of becoming a pilot. Today, those barriers are changing, but representation still matters. Every young girl who sees someone who shares her background in the flight deck begins to believe that she belongs there too. I want to be one of those examples.
Becoming a pilot is about much more than flying helicopters. Aviation connects families, delivers medical supplies, supports disaster relief, strengthens businesses, and creates opportunities across borders. It gives people access to education, employment, healthcare, and experiences that can transform lives. My goal is to use aviation not only as a career but as a platform to serve communities around the world. Whether transporting people safely, supporting humanitarian missions, mentoring future aviators, or creating opportunities for underserved youth to discover aviation, I want my career to leave a lasting impact far beyond the cockpit.
Pilot training is rigorous, rewarding—and expensive. Every flight hour, every lesson, every certification(6) brings me one step closer to earning my wings, but each also comes with financial challenges. I am committed to investing my own time, effort, and resources into this journey, and I will continue working tirelessly to make this dream a reality. Your support helps bridge the gap between determination and opportunity.
When you contribute to my education, you are doing more than helping fund flight training. You are investing in someone determined to open doors for others, to represent communities that deserve greater visibility in aviation, and to prove that dreams are not defined by where you come from but by how relentlessly you pursue them.
Thank you for believing in my dream. Every donation, every share, and every word of encouragement brings me closer to becoming the pilot I have always aspired to be—and to using that achievement to lift others as I climb.
