Today I’m asking our community to come together for someone who truly deserves it.

A 75-year-old veteran in our area is quietly struggling to make ends meet. After serving our country and giving so much of his life to protect the freedoms we all enjoy, he is now facing the reality of trying to survive month to month on a limited income. Basic necessities—housing, utilities, food—have become a constant source of stress.

He is not someone who asks for help easily. Like many from his generation, he carries pride, strength, and resilience. But no one who has served our country should have to face this stage of life alone or in hardship.

This is where we, as a community, can step in.

If you are able, whether it’s through a small financial contribution, groceries, helping with bills, or even sharing this message, it can make a real difference. Every act of kindness adds up. Even a simple check-in or offering support can remind him that he is seen, valued, and not forgotten.
