Hi there! I'm Devin Jess from Oregon. I'm 20 years old and I need your help!

I know you'll see the word computer and you might immediately think this is a fundraiser for pleasure rather than necessity however I strongly disagree. About two months ago I killed my computer and unfortunately the damage was irreparable. With a baby on the way saving up to replace it is difficult if not impossible even while working two jobs.

Now, why do I need it? For one I have another job offer for work I could do on the computer at home which I could do relatively stress free from home, allowing more money for the baby when the time comes and more time with mom in the meantime. The biggest motivator by far, however, is for the mother-to-be to have something to spend her time on while I'm away for work. Given that we live out in the country, getting friends here to spend time with her can be difficult and being alone, pregnant, and not a whole lot to do for fun is not a great combination. Not only this but the methods of communication between her and the rest of the outside world afforded by a computer, as well as the entertainment provided from gaming on it, can help her deal with anxiety, depression and emotional fragility in the moments I am unavailable. Afterall, we each have our own methods for working through our emotions, especially chronically negative ones. I will do anything I can to see hers provided

This money will all go towards parts for a computer I will build myself in an effort to reduce costs. If you can help even a dollar can bring us closer to something that could help us both a lot. 

So please remember, this isn't some idle pleasure for myself. This is a cause to help my family in the moments its needed most, when I cannot be there and the shade of dark emotions strike or even help prevent some to begin with.
