Meet Courage. He's 7 and the most gentle of souls in spite of the increasing pain he is in. I think his leg is broken but I have no money to get him to the vet. I've been working hard to find charities and organizations to help but in order to be approved we first must raise $50.00 for the exam and $70 for the X-ray to get a diagnosis and prognosis but Courage is in pain now! Courage can't wait much longer. His leg is extremely inflamed and swollen. He is such a loving dog and we love him to death. Courage has been through thick and thin with us. He's suffered through two hip surgeries due to hip dysplasia, suffered seizures and had a thyroid problem all while helping me with my depression after my dad died and spent a lot of time being a companion to mom when she was dying of cancer. Courage is exactly what his name means and has shown Courage in life and throughout his life. Courage is such a loving soul he loves people and other animals no matter what he's going through. Our goal is to raise $120 to get him in the vet's door for an X-ray and exam. He has been through so much and is such a good boy. He remains sweet even with the terrible amount of pain he is in everyday. Please say a prayer for my sweet boy. I truly believe Courage has a chance to be that happy pain free sweet ball chasing boy he used to be. There's been to much sadness and tears lately in our home.
