nightmayor is back with a brand new musical theater extravaganza. Prepare to feast on the meal of a lifetime: Crazy Dinner!

A heaping helping of romantic comedy with a side of thrilling intrigue! Marty and Lynn, a couple madly out of love, must enjoy the meal of a lifetime in a pressure cooker of deception. Each one has everything to hide- and everything to lose! Don’t let that spoil your appetite- it takes a stomach of steel to share this meal.

We are in the final stages of production for this new show. We have a delicious 10 piece cast, filled with seasoned performers. Expect many of your favorite faces from previous nightmayor shows, as well as some delectable new talent. Crazy Dinner! is directed by the tireless impresario and tastemaker, Elizabeth Lord. And of course, the script, songs and design have been prepared with utmost care by your loyal chefs, Stella and Percy.

Every musical is a miracle. The shows we make are the result of a huge amount of effort and devotion from a wide range of talented local artists. We are motivated to make shows that have never been done before, to take risks and try new ideas together, and to bring world premier theater directly to our community. The beauty of these projects is in their ephemeral nature. When you come see a nightmayor show, you get to share a unique experience with the other people in the audience and the performers on stage. You feel the love and dedication that went into the production, and know it only exists right now, for the people in the room.

This fundraiser is to help pay performers and cover the costs of costumes, sets, and props. It is hard to overstate the amount of time we have all put into this show: writing, read throughs, revisions, 10 weeks of rehearsals, building set pieces, props and costumes. Everyone involved has prioritized the show and made sacrifices to create the craziest dinner ever. We want to be able to continue making large, ambitious projects like this. We are asking for your financial support to help ensure that the artists who have dedicated so much to this dream can be compensated fairly.
