Dago Community School - Kenya
THE HANDS AND FEET OF HOPE, a local non-profit working to build a school for the children of Dago, a village located in southwest Kenya. Currently, the closest school is a brisk 45+ minute walk, making it difficult for the littlest ones to keep up. Because of this, children do not begin classes until the 5th grade, losing out on years of critical learning, and leaving only 4 years to get all necessary schooling to achieve testing scores high enough to be accepted into High School. Children who can not attend high school are left without much hope of ever finding a way out of poverty.
Our current goal is to raise enough money for windows and doors on the building project that is underway.
