Dana Monteiro Legacy Memorial
The Dana Monteiro Legacy Memorial was started to help the family of Dana A Monteiro Sr. cover funeral cost and carry on his legacy by helping fund the ministry of his son Dana II.
Dana Sr. was a man who served his Lord Jesus Christ with his whole heart. He was the founder of Grace & Truth Ministries and spent his days sharing the gospel message of Jesus Christ with whomever he came in contact with. He loved God and loved people! This was evident in his life by his service to those in need. Dana could be found feeding and clothing the homeless, visiting the elderly in nursing homes, ministering to those in prison, and even opening his own home to the homeless.
Dana left this world in Sept 2017 at the young age of 51 leaving behind his son Dana A Monteiro II, his mother Edith Martin and step-father Lawrence Martin, his brothers Robert Monteiro, Keith Monteiro, Gregory Miranda, Jordan Monteiro, his sister Mini Monteiro and many more beloved friends and family members.
His son Dana II is following in his fathers footsteps. He is a full-time missionary and has been working with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) since September 2014. Dana II has traveled to China, Brazil and Bangladesh sharing the message of Jesus. It was always Dana Sr's dream to fully fund the ministry of his son Dana II and his work with YWAM. By donating to the Dana Monteiro Legacy Memorial you can be a part of making Dana Sr's dream come true and help his son carry on his legacy.
Dana Sr. would want to leave you with this message from 2 Tim 4:6-8
"...the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Hereafter there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing."
