Danielle Takes On Haiti
In the spring of 2018, I get to hop on a plane for the first time and travel out of the country! How exciting is that!
As a course requirement for nursing school, the entire nursing class must embark on a mandatory study abroad to a foreign, underprivileged country. This upcoming spring, we get to take on Haiti! While there, we will be administering essential medical materials to those in need, and aid in providing care for them. What a way to spend spring break!
Although I have managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA while working throughout the entirity of my undergrad thus far, I am anxious in trying to find a way to acquire the $3200 to attend this trip, not including passports, luggage, uniforms, and any other miscellaneous fees that will appear along the way, so I am taking to the interweb to help! I mean, I am a broke college student, and I am sure we can all relate to the amount of ramen that I have on my shelf.
Every cent collected will go directly towards getting me across the world to help those in need! I am so excited to put my knowldge to work for good, and I hope that you will help get me there! Haiti here I come!
