I am a professional opera singer, and I have been given the opportunity to sing two roles in Italy, so I am raising money for the five week trip.

Singing opera professionally around the world, as a solo artist, has been my dream and passion for 15 years. I have earned three degrees in voice performance, I have sustained numerous physical injuries and life setbacks that have directly affected my singing, but with the help of my family, my significant other, his family, my mentors, my community, and my faith, I have continued singing and now my primary source of income is my solo singing career. Now, with the help of my community, I hope to finance this next large step in my career, overseas.

I will also be taking a pilgrimage to the Vatican and the Florence Duomo; my faith has been a very important part of my life and is the reason I began, and am still, singing. I would like to end my trip with this pilgrimage, as a way of re-dedicating the gifts I have been given to the One who gave them.

I will also be auditioning in Germany prior to the start of the program, so funds will also be dedicated to that leg of the trip.
