Dannys medical help
Daniel Trieper was in a terrible motorcycle accident on October 4th, 2021. He was transported to a trauma unit in St. Augustine immediately following the wreck. Once he arrived, he was prepped and rushed into surgery for his spinal cord injury. During the operation he flatlined due to dehydration and extreme stress put on his body. He then was resuscitated, intubated and hooked up to several life saving machines. The situation looked very grim, and he was fortunate to still be alive. Some of his injuries included a fractured neck, fractures in spine, spinal cord damage, a broken leg, crushed arms resulting in loss of fingerprints on all but one finger, two punctured lungs and so much more. Currently he is unable to utilize his hands or legs and his heart is only working at a 30% capacity. He has a long road ahead and still needs many operations/surgeries before he is able to step down into recovery. He will need acute rehabilitation care upon discharge from the hospital, and will need to go through physical therapy to regain the ability to walk. More recently, Danny suffered an infection in his foot through his open road rash and he will be enduring yet another operation in the net few days to remove the infection. He was employed as a cook at a restaurant however due to this horrendous event he will no longer be employed and will need to move back home to rehabilitate. He will be unable to return to his job, nor have the ability to work for several months. He does not have the means or funds for his rising medical costs. We ask that you just please either donate, share his story or ask others to help in anyway possible. Anyone who knows Danny, knows how compassionate he is and how much he loves helping his friends/family out when he is able...Please return the compassion and help him in his time of need.
