Danny's Ranch ★ החווה של
As an equestrian deeply passionate about the well-being of both horses and humans, I chose to support Danny's Farm in Israel for my Bat Mitzvah project.
Danny's Farm for the last 3.5 years has been running an all volunteer program for PTSD combat trauma victims that gives a framework and a sense of belonging to anyone who feels the need to follow up on a significant past event . The program runs for six months with 24 weekly sessions led by Dr. Yoram Ben Yehuda who is an expert in the field. About 25 soldiers participate in each program.
Until the Seventh of October, they managed to run the one program twice a year. Following the Seventh of October, Danny's Farm saw a dramatic increase in the number of soldiers requiring help and treatment.
Horses not only provide us with joy and companionship, but also serve as remarkable allies in the journey towards healing. By ensuring the health and well-being of Danny's horses, we can grow a supportive environment adding additional programs where individuals grappling with PTSD can find solace, understanding, and a path towards recovery.
Your support can help provide the care, training, and facilities needed to facilitate equine-assisted therapy for those who have sacrificed so much for their country.
