John Dau was the Managing Director for St. Luke's Theological College which I helped open in 2013. In 2015, Civil War broke out, the college was closed, and John's father, who was our security guard, was shot and killed on campus. That is when we opened St. Luke's Primary School in the refugee camp in Uganda. John became principal for the school which quickly grew to 1,500 students. He moved back to South Sudan, worked for the government, got married and had three children. He sent them Uganda to go to school. Last year he lost his job and needs help with school tuition.

So, I am doing a fund raiser to help him cover that expense. I am using FreeFunder (a GoFundMe without the fees), and I hope to raise $1,200 for next semester.
