We’re proud to share that two Kearns students, Jennie Chau and Veda Sanchez, have qualified for the National Debate Tournament in Virginia this June. This is an incredible achievement earned through months of preparation, research, and competition.

This is their final year in high school debate, and we want to help make it a year they’ll always remember. Since they are not attending as part of a funded team, all travel costs are being raised by their families.

We are raising funds to help cover expenses for both students and one required judge/chaperone. Costs include airfare, lodging, meals, and tournament-related fees. Our goal is $5,000 to make sure they can attend and represent our community without financial barriers.

Any contribution, big or small, makes a real difference. Thank you for supporting their hard work and helping them take this exciting next step.
