I am a 26 year old veteran and mother of 2, trying to dig myself out of debt. Every time I take a chunk down, as most of you know something always comes up and kicks us in the rear. I have around $16,000 in credit card debt due to home repairs, emergencies, and early 20's shenanigans that I have thankfully grown out of, and I owe around $4,000 on my vehicle of 5 years. I have done budget after budget, currently looking into side hustles, but the only way I can possibly get this down effectively is to ask complete strangers for assistance. I am on a fixed income and in school full time, as well as a mom full time, so I just feel stuck.
