This is honestly difficult for me to post because I’ve always tried to handle things on my own. But after almost two years, I’ve reached a point where I need to ask for help.

Nearly two years ago, I had a tooth extracted and began the process of getting a permanent dental bridge. As part of that process, the three surrounding teeth had to be shaved down to support the bridge. Since then, I’ve been forced to rely on a temporary bridge while trying to save enough money to complete the permanent one.

Living with a temporary bridge hasn’t been easy. It breaks often, making it difficult to eat comfortably and leaving me worried that it will come loose at the worst possible time.

Just yesterday, I paid $350 to have a brand-new temporary bridge made because my previous one had broken in multiple places. Less than 24 hours later, the new temporary bridge cracked as well.

My dental insurance covers only $2,500 toward the permanent bridge, leaving me responsible for $5,300 out of pocket. After nearly two years of trying to make temporary solutions work, I’m asking for help so I can finally complete the treatment.
