Help Tisha Get Life-Saving Dental Surgery

In 2013, Tisha survived a traumatic attack that changed her life forever. During the assault, one of her teeth was broken, allowing bacteria to enter her bloodstream and leading to a rare, life-threatening infection called Ludwig’s Angina. Her face swelled rapidly, her airways closed, and she underwent three emergency surgeries in the ICU. She even briefly died during one of the operations and was placed in a medically induced coma. Afterward, she had to relearn how to walk and talk once the feeding tubes, tracheotomy, and drainage tubes were removed.

Tisha is a fighter—but the experience left her with severe PTSD and night terrors, on top of already living with bipolar disorder. To make things worse, she has always had a deep fear of dentists, and the trauma only made it worse.

Now, at just 35 years old, Tisha’s teeth have completely deteriorated. They are breaking and crumbling, and she lives in constant, daily pain. She’s finally reached a point where she has no choice but to get dental surgery. After meeting with an oral surgeon, we learned that none of her teeth can be saved. Everything must be removed, and she’ll need full dentures.

We’re terrified of what could happen if this is delayed any longer. Infections could spread again, and the damage could become irreversible—or worse.
