You know how you never think in a million years that something could happen to you but then it does? A situation so awful you wouldn't wish it on your worst enemy? Me and my family have been going through hell since July of 2025 and have exhausted every dollar of savings and are about to lose everything.

March of 2024 my best friend Chelsie unexpectedly passed away while bathing her 14 mo old daughter, in my bathtub, while I was feeding her 6 week old son. She also has a 9 year old boy. We later learned that she passed from Peripartum Cardiomyopathy. At 30 years old. Leaving behind a husband and 3 precious children.

I moved them into my home as I was a single mom with a teenage boy and had the room and wanted to help her husband with the babies in anyway I could. They were family to me. We managed through the newborn weeks and months and I continued working from home for my job as a Clinical Project Manager for Oncology. In July 2025, I was laid off from my 6 figure job after 10 years of service.

Things have gone terribly since. As I had been there so long and had planned to retire there, I didnt have any active medical licenses anymore where I could go work in my field so I did the only thing I knew and worked at a diner for a short period of time before being hired on as a caregiver. That job was amazing and I loved it but I had a 2 hour commute each way and worked almost 60 hours a week. Unfortunately, their insurance was insanely expensive and literally took every dollar of my paycheck. I had to leave that company because I just couldn't afford to work that much for nothing! I have been desperately searching for work and have applied to everywhere I can find but nothing has hit.

The kids father is a Handyman and takes jobs as he can, but being winter, business has been deathly slow.

Rent was due and everything we had went to that (2400 with late fees).. but there are so many other bills that we need to cover to not be homeless with 4 kids.

Our one car payment is $500 a month and is behind about 2 payments.

Electricity and utilities will be cut off any day- 340+

Auto insurance has been canceled due to non payment. -750

Cell phones have been shut off- 467 to turn on and another 450 to catch up

Plus all the day to day expenses. We have 2 other cars that are down we cant afford to fix. We have various loans that we have taken out to make ends meet, but we just cant pay them. We are working so hard for work and to try to catch up but nothing is coming in fast enough.

We dont qualify for government assistance somehow and barely can afford groceries.

We are desperate. If anyone can find it in their heart to donate anything... please know, it will not be wasted. We have to take care of these kids. They've lost their mama and don't deserve to lose their home.

Please, I don't know what else to do.
