I lost my husband to Covid in 2021. Due to trust issues from my previous marriage I was the one to o opt for a relied marriage only and not civil thinking I would be with my soul mate till old age, naive I know. He passed after 3 months on a ventilator and I was too in shock to do anything. His son from his first marriage stole 46,000 in emergency money we had in the closet. He took advantage of my shock and grief. I was blessed to at least have my home but now it is falling apart in a couple gametes ways. My bathroom coming is falling in, my garage door is hanging by one side and the floor is sinking in my hall way. I need about $3000 to start fixing things and am embarrassed to ask for more. I am truly disabled and get a total of $997 a month which barely pays food and bills let alone afford home owners insurance. I am grateful for anyone reading this and truly humbled for any help.
