Hi, my name is Miranda. I’m 22, soon to be 23, and I recently started work at an dog boarding facility. I absolutely love it, but unfortunately during my third week we had an outbreak of kennel cough. Our entire business has been shut down, going on our second week now. All of our hours have been cut and I am now only getting between 10-14 a week. I am really scared. I know this shouldn’t take more than a month, but because this was my full-time job, it leaves me with little to no income. And, aside from rent, lease payments, and food necessities, I also have my girl, Esther, to care for. She is my not-so-little pitbull and the most sweetest girl in the world. It feels like everything is falling apart and I am so nervous.

Fortunately, I have a little bit of money saved for emergencies, but I don’t know how long this will last. Hence why I am turning to the online world. If anyone is able to share anything at all, whether that be advice, kind words, or even a $1, Esther and I would be deeply appreciative.
