I am disabled and the only way that I can get out and go anywhere is if I can take my wheelchair with me. I have a lift in my truck so that I can have the freedom of traveling to the store or to a doctor or wherever I need to go and carry my wheelchair with me. However my truck is in desperate need of repairs it's winter time it doesn't even have a heater, it's not running properly, and is causing me a lot of problems. It doesn't have many miles on it it just needs repairs it needs tires it needs mechanical work that I simply can't afford on my income. I am on disability and live on about $1,000 a month. Unfortunately that's barely enough to live on, pay insurance, utilities, rent, it just barely gets me by if I'm very careful. I unfortunately don't have enough to do the maintenance on my vehicle that it needs and honestly I don't have a way to get to the places that I need to go like the grocery store, or to go pay bills, or to go to a doctor's appointment, Or anything else, and take my chair with me and without my chair I can't go in to do anything. So what I'm trying to do is hopefully find a little bit of help so that I am able to keep my freedom, and not be homebound.
