Disabled MomAutistic Son&Twins
I am a disabled mom with Lupus, fibromyalgia, Severe Heart Failure, Spinal Stenosis, Degenerative Disc Disease & I'm A Breast Cancer Survivor and a laundry list of other Auto immune diseases and take 13 medications daily.
My son is Autistic ( a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts).with schizophrenia psychosis, (Hallucinations , Delusions, Thought disorders (unusual or dysfunctional ways of thinking,Movement disorders,“Flat affect” (reduced expression of emotions via facial expression or voice tone) Reduced feelings of pleasure in everyday life
Difficulty beginning and sustaining activities
, Reduced speaking, Poor “executive functioning” (the ability to understand information and use it to make decisions)
, Trouble focusing or paying attention Problems with “working memory” (the ability to use information immediately after learning it). ADHD & extremely high Anxiety. Needless to say that is a hefty amount for him and I to deal with. and he also takes medications, 9 in total.
I also have my Twin 5 yr old grandsons 6 days a week. Their Mom is a hard worker trying to make ends meet.
We all of that being said we live in the city on a street were cars drive like they are on an expressway and we have no yard to speak of.
I am here as a last resort to try and raise money to get a camper big enough to take all the boys camping, get them out of the city, and let them experience an atmosphere free of chaos.I'm hoping and praying this will ease my sons symptoms, even if only for a while.
I'm praying that God will send us angel and make this possible!
