Disabled Veteran Remodel
Hello Everyone
Sorry for the Photo i. will have family take a better on when I can
I am not posting this because I think i deserves more than anyone else if they work for what they want.
Having said that, I am a 100% Disabled veteran, I needed some changes to my home for better access to special needed services, Kitchen, Bath shower, laundry to wash clothes, since I am in a wheelchair these changes are needed,
I am not saying I deserve any more than anyone else who have worked to obtain it. I worked after I got out of the service until the VA said I could no longer work, because I need 24 hr. nurse attendance.
I applied for help to get these changes made. which the lowest estimate I could get was 28,000.00 dollars. Way more than I can afford. Living on my Military disability and disability SSI.
So, I applied for a loan and was denied because of my income. I applied for a grant from the VA and was granted 12,000.00 with that I went with the lowest bid, and they remodeled the shower and kitchen, lowest bid meant lowest work quality, I had to find a contractor who would fix the problems in the kitchen drain system and the shower drains. Another 5,000.00. and thanks to this I am now trying to get this paid for.
Now we must find 14,000.00 to get the work done and fix the items they were supposed to do.
Thus, that is why I am asking for your help. I know times are tough and only if you can. please help.
Sincerely,
John Worley
