Disaster after F2 tornado
On April 17, 2026 in Lena IL our home was hit by an F2 Tornado. Our roof and siding was hit bad. Our basement was flooded due to water coming through the windows. We do have insurance but the company will not pay for all the damage. In fact, we are still waiting for them to send us any money. We've had several contractors tell us our roof and siding need to be replaced not repaired. The hail and tornado left actual holes in our roof. The insulation is completely destroyed as well. We had no power for a couple days. We are extremely lucky we didn't loose our whole house. We are just kindly asking for any financial help that anyone might be able to extend to us in making our house whole again. Right now it's just a house it no longer feels like the home we purchased ten years ago. Thanks for any and all consideration.
