Dedicated Vet Needs Help!
The man shown above is Dr. Denis Daman, a veterinarian who has practiced for over 40 years in Butler, PA. He has saved the lives of thousands of animals, often at little or no cost to the owner, because he believed it was the right thing to do.
After years of helping so many pets, Dr. Daman needs help immediately. He has been diagnosed with amyloidosis cardiomyopathy, a very rare disease described HERE. Dr. Daman made arrangements through Boston Medical Center for treatment, which included housing. However, due to an administrative change, BMC no longer provides housing for sufferers of this disease. They gave him this news with less than one month until his treatment!
Dr. Daman has exhausted all available resources to pay for testing, diagnosis and treatment of this disease. He does not have the ability to cover the sudden costs of short-term housing in Boston for he and his wife, which is very expensive and is the only scenario permitted by BMC. Without attaining housing, Dr. Daman cannot enter the treatment program. If he doesn't enter the treatment program, the prognosis for this disease is very grim.
All moneys raised here will be used to cover the costs of short-term housing. I am requesting the bare minimum, which does not account for food, incidentals, etc.
Thanks in advance for your support of this man who has given so much to so many in the community where he lives and works.
Sincerely,
Aubrey Kornrumpf - Office Manager
