Doc Holliday Plaque
Greetings, Wild West history buffs! As you know, John Henry "Doc" Holliday lived in Prescott before heading to Tombstone. We have recently discovered where Doc lived in 1880 while in Prescott. Now we are raising funds to place a historical marker in that spot. It will go behind Bashford Courts off of Montezuma Street. The parking lot there is where the boarding house he lived in sat in 1880. Any money donated will go toward the cost of the plaque (which is over $4000). If we are lucky enough for the amount received to go over that cost, it will go toward an unveiling event which we hope will transpire on Doc's birthday, August 14, 2024. Details for that will be forthcoming. Thank you for helping us fund what we believe will be a great addition to promoting the fantastic history of Prescott!
