Doc's Spring Semester
Firstly, a thank you to all who made D's semester at Outdoor Academy in 2022 not only possible but a resounding success!
D went on to graduate from high school with high marks and the esteem of their teachers and schoolmates. It is now because of a high school teacher's support that D has gained another once-in-a-lifetime educational opportunity - to study abroad as a college freshman with the with the Verto Education Program in partnership with the University of New Haven.
D will join the program in Spring 2024, and will leave the US for Czechia in February.
To make this possible, we need help with the final push for funding. Our community has raised $5K so far. Can you please help an LGBTQ student meet their goal of USD $9999.00 to fund tuition, air fare, and other education and travel expenses?
