I am hoping to raise money for my mom so she can continue to care for my sister, Desiree. In September 2025, she was diagnosed with Stage 1 Endometrial Cancer. In December, after having a total hysterectomy, we thought things were looking good. However, recent scans have shown that the cancer has progressed to stage 4. As a family, we were devastated. As many friends and family know, Desiree had a cardiac arrest at 14 years old. She survived, after being in a coma for 2 weeks. She had to relearn everything. She is a miracle. Many years later, she received an L-Vad to help support her failing heart. She lived on a battery assisted device for 2 years, before receiving a heart transplant in 2010. In 2023, she fell and broke her back in a few places, and most recently, the Cancer diagnosis. She rarely complains. She is the ultimate warrior. God willing, we will help her win the fight!

My mom is her primary caretaker, and would never think of asking for help. She is 88, a retired ER nurse, the most loving person, and a warrior herself! She lost her two sons, ages 12 and 14 to heart disease, as well as her husband at age 54. She never stops helping others. She has cared for Desiree much of her life. My other sister, Gina, is taking a leave of absence from her full time job, to help as well. My goal is to help ease the financial burden for my mom, as she is faced with traditional and functional medical costs. Please continue to pray for strength and healing, as we enter many unknowns.
