Everybody has seen on a viral video or unfortunately known a domesticated pet that has been abused. Non profits like ASPCA and PETA seem to do good up until a certain point. I want to raise awareness and change our laws to help safeguard more animal rights that go unnoticed.

For example: Registered sex offenders should lose their rights to adopt an animal. People convicted of violent crimes need strict screening in place to determine the potential hazards posed to animals in violent homes.

Better adoption screenings, how do we have such strict rules on human adoption only? It is damaging to an animal to adopt them to later neglect them or worse return them. Bring public awareness to others that domesticated pets are not "play things" only but have real thought, comprehension and self awareness and a full spectrum of emotions just like humans.

I can no longer allow this issue to keep me up another nite, if those pets could speak on their own behalf they would however they cannot and it is up to us as humans to do the right thing and come together to create additional laws and protection for these helpless living beings.
