My dad and I have always shared a close relationship. After many years of him being on dialysis and going through a previous kidney transplant that didn’t succeed, we’ve been given a new opportunity — I’m a compatible match and will be donating my kidney to him.
We’re incredibly grateful and hopeful as we prepare for surgery and recovery. During this time, we’ll both be out of work and will have added expenses related to travel, lodging, food, and lost wages.
This fundraiser is simply to help cover those practical costs so we can focus on healing and getting back to normal life. Any support, whether donating or sharing, truly means a lot to us.
