I am feeling SO deeply supported and cared for- and absolutely blessed to be part of such amazing communities!!! 💖🙏🏼😊🧡 With all of your help, I have now surpassed my critical fundraising goal of $8,000!!! Deep, DEEP gratitude to each one of you who has offered me support in ANY way (whether your support came in the form of a donation, kind words expressed, sharing my fundraiser, holding the vision of me strong and healing fully, or simply keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.

If I raise any additional funds beyond my original critical $8000 fundraising goal, I will use those funds for complementary healing therapy. Please only give if it's comfortable to do so; I greatly appreciate energetic and other non-monetary support as well!!! 💖💖💖 Though I have met my original fundraising goal, I am leaving the fundraiser open for now, if anyone wishes to donate towards complementary healing therapies. Of course, friends are also welcome to donate to me directly.

At this point, there is no need to share my fundraiser widely.

My slightly abbreviated original fundraising message:

Dear friends and colleagues,

With a humble heart I invite your support in my time of need. After searching extensively for another good solution, I have realized that I now need to ask for help from all my communities despite how vulnerable it feels to do so. Over the past five years, I have dealt with SO. MANY. CHALLENGES! with health and home. During this time, I have been super resilient and have overcome these challenges- and I am healing the cancer in my body with conventional immunotherapy and holistic methods. I feel physically, mentally, and emotionally very strong!!! Folks who saw me dancing joyfully and energetically in the park this past Sunday know it's true! 🤗

However, at this time, I am in critical need of one-time broader community financial support to help me raise a minimum of $8000 of urgently-needed funds by Oct. 26th, to offset expenses related to my cancer diagnosis and treatment.

✳️‼️✳️ I must raise these funds BY THE DEADLINE OF OCT. 26TH to avoid very detrimental impacts to my well-being, and provide the stability I need to fully heal and afford future healthcare expenses.

Even with health insurance, my healthcare-related expenses have already totaled many, many thousands of dollars since my cancer diagnosis. This is a lot to handle as a single person who is the only human in my home– paying the mortgage and all bills plus several necessary expensive home repairs in recent years in addition to these extensive healthcare-related expenses. I also had some reduction in income for several months while on disability leave. Unfortunately, I haven't had any savings to fall back on, due to previous unexpected life and health challenges that depleted my financial resources.
