Dr. Doreen H. Wilkinson established a nonprofit entity (Dr. Doreen Hind Wilkinson Charitable Foundation "DHWCF")  with a simple purpose of raising money to aid high achieving underprivileged children in Jamaica and more broadly the Carribean gain access to quality high school educations.  Dr. Wilkinson understands first hand that too many generations of capable young people are cut out of self-sustaining gainful employment due to the stunting of access to education at the high school level in Jamaica.  With a mission of providing help and scholarship assistance to underprivileged children in Jamaica, your donation will immediately expand the number of students reached by DHWCF.  Dr. Wilkinson's experiences of growing up in Jamaica drives her current commitment to reach back and help even if it is one helping hand at a time. Having earned a Master's in Education from Lesley University and then a Ph. D. in Education from Harvard University provides the academic clout to her advocacy.
