Hello everyone, I am coming to all of our friends, family and neighbors for help for my son, Jonathan Dorsey, and his wife Bee and my precious granddaughter Lucy. They are in need, of repairs on their car, namely the transmission is needing repaired. We were given an estimate of $5,000, which is why, I have set this fundraiser at 5,000. With the rising cost of living, my son is actually working two jobs and his wife is working as well, and because of extenuating circumstances with medical expenses and other financial obligations, my son is not able to pay for this repair alone. My husband and I, have actually used what we had, to help him raise our granddaughter, because she came unexpectedly, and is a true miracle baby, as her mother wasn't expected to conceive due to some health issues. Without a car, he would have no means of transportation, to get himself back and forth to work and to provide for his family. According to programs that will help you, with transportation costs, they do not qualify. He exceeds the age limit, and they are slightly above the financial limits as well. He has a very large loan payment, that he used, to be able to pay for the car, which he is still doing, this loan, not only paid for the car, but was used for medical expenses from the baby being born, and some other bills that needed taken care of, because they had to move from where they were living in order to provide a larger home for him and his wife and the baby. I've never done a fundraiser of this nature before, but it is a true emergency, that we get him, the help to get on the road and drive safely. Would you help us?
