Down On Luck, High On Hope

Hello Friends, Family, And All Who Are Reading This

For the kind hearts that aren't aquainted with me,
My name is Ramona Smith, born and raised in Sacramento Ca. 34yrs young, a mother and a wife. The last few years have been very difficult for my husband and myself, but since the birth of our now 10month old daughter Tattyana we have been trying very hard to get on our feet and provide her with the stability of a home, since the few years of difficulty before her birth and during pregnancy included us being completely homeless sleeping in a truck we owned at the time. Things had begun to get better, we felt a little relief until October of 2017, Starting off we were staying in a hotel room but we had family staying as well so we all helped eachother out, Things became complicated when adults began to set their responsibilities aside to indulge and focus on wants instead of needs, this lead to going separate ways. And than everything just...... Yeah it got ridiculous, from my car catching fire, sleeping in my car for almost a week, my parents having to take my baby(extremely difficult for me) until we figured out our next move.
Finally, Laura Munoz from Yolo County Allocation contacted me after hearing my many voicemails, she urged me to come in immediately because they could help. Turns out we qualified for CalWorks Allocation in which pays 8wks of hotel stay, and assistance in finding permanent housing as well pay for the credit fees and entire move costs(Mark Sawyer is an amazing man) we were given 22wks due to my husband at this point being physically unable to walk anymore than a quarter block before he is in excruciating pain leaving him in tears(he has been seeing specialist with no solution).
As of yesterday March 24th, 2018, we are completely homeless. Check out was 11am, But unwilling to take my daughter out into the cold and on the streets with absolutely no where to go, I have not checked out because the manager is so use to receiving his weekly payment either Friday or Monday afternoon he is waiting for Monday(tomorrow) Afternoon for payment.....
So as tomorrow draws closer, I have made every attempt to look up churches, assistance programs, even ask family for help, anything makes a difference as of tomorrow I need $370.00 for the week, I am trying to pay for 2weeks so that my daughter can at least celebrate her first Easter, since she did not get a first celebration for any previous holidays, Christmas she received 1 gift but we were fortunate enough to spend it with my parents and siblings and enjoy dinner, I am grateful that she is too young to remember, But I want her to at least have 1 holiday that we can take pix and show her later on.
I am aware things are hard right now for a lot of us,
and i completely understand if you are unable to donate, instead if you cant donate right now PLEASE, PLEASE can you share this campaign with all and everyone you know, even others you dont know just share because sharing this fundraiser helps us find donations from random kind hearted strangers.
Those that receive this and take time to read it, but your also able and willing to help PLEASE, I AM ASKING out of options no where to go and no one to call on, ANYTHING HELPS WHETHER ITS $2 OR $200 ANYTHING HELPS US GET THAT MUCH CLOSER, PREVENTS ME FROM HAVING CHARGES FILED AGAINST ME AND ARRESTED FOR BEING HERE AND HAVING NO MONEY TO PAY TOMORROW... as a mother who is trying to overcome this hardship, and gain strength mentally & emotionally, gain knowledge & acceptance, a stronger relationship with God and begin on a whole new path of life, I will continue to pray for a positive outcome.
I'd like to finish by saying Thank you all, I appreciate that time you took out your lives to simply read this, With my whole heart and entire being I am saying Thank You, You All Are Appreciated More than any words could ever explain.

Love is all I send, No Good Deed Goes Unnoticed.
Thank You, Please Continue To Share:  Ramona L. Smith
