I began my entrepreneurship journey in late 2021. I finally decided that I could no longer work for companies that did not care about their employees, customers, or even the products and services they provided. I decided I wanted to own my business doing something I am good at and enjoy. Woodworking has always been my hobby, and I have made a little money here and there doing it, so I started researching if it could be a profitable business. I found some fantastic online resources and learned how to create a business plan and many other things. I started saving as much money as possible from my paychecks and used it to get things started. Now let me tell you, starting your own business can be extremely difficult, especially for someone that does not have access to a lot of money. As of right now, I have hit a financial wall. This funding will significantly impact my business by providing the funds to buy materials, tools, advertising, and more. This funding is what I need to get Homemade Designs Llc up and going so I can start offering my products and services to my community and not have to go back to work for a company with no values.
