Ed Pologruto's Legacy Fund

Dear Pologruto Friends & Family-

As many of us know, Ed Pologruto aka Eddie Bamboozle was truly a jack of all trades. He was an expert on both horses and guns, was a connoisseur of classic films and music, and there wasn't a machine he didn't have a license to drive, whether it was a plane, boat or motorcycle.

Sadly he is no longer with us, BUT his life's to-do list still lives on, and his adventurous daughter Jessica (Jessie/Jess/J) wants nothing more than to take it over!

Ed passed down his love of travel and interesting experiences to Jess, and she plans to do all of the things that he still wanted to do, as well as learn to do the things he enjoyed the most. Because so many of you have reached out asking about what kind of gift you can send or what you can do to help, I had the idea to create this legacy fund. With our help, Jess can take on these activities and travel experiences sooner and more frequently than if she were to save up on her own. Please consider donating to this memorial fund created to help Jess continue Ed's legacy!

As an example of Ed's aspirations, in his final weeks alone, he expressed a desire to do a father-daughter trip to Cuba, to motorcycle through Southern Italy where his family was from, and to get out on a sailboat and feel the wind at his back one more time. He truly lived his life through experiences and we all know that Jess does the same.
Jess is dedicated to remembering her father through all of the things he loved to do and plans to do everything from learning how to sail a boat on her own, to practicing her gun skills at the shooting range, and even wants to travel to Havana and smoke a Cuban cigar for him.

While this was not Jess' idea (and as we know she is someone who is actually quite averse to asking for help, especially the monetary kind), she has approved of my sending this out to her closest friends & family because she knows that Ed would have loved this idea. She will be Extremely grateful for any donations to help towards her savings goals for any kinds of experiences or trips to honor her father's life and memory in the coming years. Again, any amount that you may have spent on flowers or another condolence gift is greatly appreciated.

We'd also love for you to add any other ideas for honoring Ed in the Comments box when you donate (i.e. things he told you he wanted to do, places he wanted to go, things you know he already loved to do or wanted to do with his daughter or Lisa, etc.)

Thank you for humoring this unconventional idea!

Love,
Natalie dePasquale (aka Nan)
